Served as legislative staff
to Anchorage Senators & Representatives during the 1971
legislative session, 1973 interim and volunteering during
the 1975, 1976 session, and again as staff in the 1995 interim.

business corporations, non-profit organizations throughout
Alaska.
Worked with children and families as a mental health counselor, foster mom, parent, youth group leader and school volunteer, beginning in 1963 as a volunteer for the King County, Washington’s Children’s Court in 1963.

Alumna, University of Alaska Anchorage (BA in 1972) & Alaska Pacific University (MS in 1992). Presently working toward an advanced degree in UAA’s Public Administration program, with a Health Emphasis.
Serving as the founder and coordinator of the Affordable Health Care Workgroup actively participating in legislator and public awareness of the uninsured and underinsured costs to our state and economy and seeking long-term solutions.
